Quang Nguyen (pronounced “Kwon Win”) was born in Vietnam and grew up in Canada. He studied Electrical Engineering at the University of Waterloo where he came to Christ in 1992. After working 7 years in the IT field, he was called into ministry and went to Tyndale Seminary where he completed his MDiv, but more importantly where he met his wife, Cathy. They married in 2001 and a year later started serving at RHCCC. They’ve also completed a diploma in Spiritual Formation at Tyndale and have served as Spiritual Directors. After going on several short-term field visitation trips, in 2011 they went to China to serve long term with ELIC by teaching English to university students. In 2020, they returned to Canada because of Covid, and have been attending RHCCC since then. He is very excited to return to the staff in 2025.
