Rev. Dr. Lydia Zhang was born in China. She immigrated to Canada in Year 2000; and lived in Montreal for 10 years. She was baptized in 2002 at Easter, together with her daughter. She had served as a small group leader, principal of a Chinese school founded by a church, and deaconess, among other roles. In 2006, in response to God’s call, she started studying in seminary. In 2010 she went to China Evangelical Seminary in Taiwan for her Master of Divinity. For 3 years, Pastor Lydia lived, studied and served with teachers and fellow students. As a result, she had tremendous growth in her spiritual life. After graduation in 2013, she and her daughter settled in Toronto, and made RHCCC their spiritual home. Through God’s leading, Pastor Lydia became a pastor for Mandarin People Group. Her primary responsibilities are prayer ministry, missions and Isaiah Fellowship. She is now working on her Doctor of Ministry. Pastor Lydia enjoys movies, TV drama and reading.
