Pastor Stephen Hsu was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois by Christian parents from Taiwan. After being saved at university and serving the Lord as a trial lawyer and lay leader for 20 years, God mysteriously used his wife and the film “La La Land” to remind him of the calling he forgot. In 2017, he sold his law practice and family home to move downtown to pastor a multiethnic Chicago church. In 2020, Pastor Stephen moved his family to his wife’s hometown of Markham to study the Old Testament through Regent College. In 2022, God led Pastor Stephen to be the English Pastor of Mission and is eager to equip marketplace ministers. He has always loved telling stories through the dramatic arts, courtroom trials and preaching, by imagining the Greatest Story. Pastor Stephen is extravagantly blessed with his Cantonese wife Serina, a clinical psychologist, and they disciple four spirited children, who enjoy RV living.
