Pastor Angus Kwong Pastor Angus is a native Hongkonger who spent his kindergarten, primary, and secondary school years in Hong Kong. After graduating from Form 7 in 2000, he had the opportunity to study abroad in Edmonton, Canada. While reflecting on the meaning of life in the land of ice and snow, he made the decision to believe in Christ in January 2002. In the same year, during a church missions conference and Sunday service, he repeatedly heard the call: “Who is willing to respond to God’s calling and serve Him in full-time ministry?” He responded, “I am willing!”
After graduating from the university in 2005, he returned to Hong Kong and served young people at Suen Douh Camp and Kowloon Tong Alliance Church. In 2012, he enrolled at China Graduate School of Theology and completed his Master of Divinity. After graduation, he served in Shatin Peace Evangelical Centre, shepherding youth and families.
In 2022, God once again led his family back to the place where his calling first began, giving him the opportunity to respond to the burden God had placed in his heart years earlier—to bring international students before God.
He married his wife, Michelle, in 2012. They have two sons: Samuel, the elder, and Timothy, the younger. He enjoys Japanese manga and anime, movies, video games, and the feeling of living in a snowy, wintry environment.
