Pastor Alex (Lixin) Wang was born in Shandong, China, and worked for many years in Beijing, Hong Kong, and other cities before moving to Canada with his family in 2014. In 2017, he was baptized at North York Chinese Baptist Church, where he also received God’s calling to serve full-time in ministry.
He pursued theological training at the Canadian Chinese School of Theology (Tyndale University) and graduated in May 2024. That September, he joined the Mandarin Ministry staff team at RHCCC, serving full-time in discipleship and small group shepherding in the North District of Mandarin people group.
Before entering ministry, Pastor Alex built a career in business, investment, and corporate management, gaining extensive marketplace experience. He loves reading, traveling, and cherishes time with his family. He and his wife are grateful to God for their son and daughter.
