Kids Summer Camp 1
(SK- Gr 3)
THEME: Monumental
The main purpose of this camp is to help children, especially the unchurched kids, to know about Jesus and His love for us. Kids can build a closer relationship with Jesus and with our church family. This summer, we will be exploring God’s awesomeness, which help kids to form a rock-solid faith for the road ahead.

July 4 – 8, 2022 (Session 1)
July 11-15, 2022 (Session 2)
Monday – Friday: 9:30am – 5:00pm
CAMP FORMAT:
One week full-day in-person camp. Parent may choose either attending the first OR second session of Camp 1.
Kids Summer Camp 2
(Gr 4-6)
THEME: Know My Inside Out
The main purpose of this camp is to help preteens, especially those from unchurched families, to know about Jesus and His love for us. Kids can build a closer relationship with Jesus and with our church family. This summer, we will lead our preteens to have a better understanding and management of their emotions through the movie Inside Out and God’s Word.
DATE & TIME:
July 25 – 29, 2022
Monday – Wednesday: 9:30am – 5:00pm
Thursday: 9:30am through the night
Friday: Till 12noon
CAMP FORMAT:
4 and a half-day camp with a lock-in on Thursday night

Summer Camp Information
REGISTRATION STARTS: April 3, 2022. Priorities will be given to unchurched kids and those who bring unchurched friends together to this camp.
DEADLINE FOR REGISTRATION: April 24, 2022 or while spots are available
CONFIRMATION OF ACCEPTANCE: Via email on or before May 1, 2022
CAMP FEE: $150 per child * (include all Camp materials + camp t-shirt + snacks), Lunch NOT INCLUDED (* may apply for subsidy as needed)
LATE PICK-UP FEE:

PAYMENT: Acceptance Confirmation & Payment Method will be communicated via email on or before May 1st, 2022. Payment has to be made before May 15th, otherwise your spot will be released to those on waiting list. Payment for confirmed wait-list applicants are due 7-day follows the day of notice. .
REFUND: There is no refund after May 29th, unless RHCCC initiates the cancellation due to global pandemic precautionary measure. Written cancellation request received before May 29th can get refund, but less administration charge of $50/child.
HEALTH & SAFETY REQUIREMENTS:
- All campers have to meet the Health & Safety pre-screening daily prior to sign-in.
- All campers have to pass a body temperature check of below 38 degree Celsius daily prior to sign-in. A body temp check of 38 degree Celsius or above at any time during the camp will be sent home immediately. Partial refund may be made.
- Must follow RHCCC Children’s Ministry mask wearing requirement.
- Provide proof of valid medical or travel insurance of campers.
Special Health & Safety Measures
To ensure the health and safety for both campers and camp staff under the global pandemic, we have arranged our camp ministry as follow:
- reduced the camp size (split Camp 1 for our SK to Gr. 3 into two 1-week sessions, with max 50 kids per session; reduce Camp 2 for Gr. 4-6 to max 60 kids).
- cancel all off-site outings and accommodations, but we still have Fun In the Sun in the nearby parks, while health safety and weather permit.
- masking, daily health & safety pre-screening, body temp check are required by campers and camp staff according to Ontario Health and RHCCC CM guidelines.
- all camp staff are fully vaccinated.
- all rooms in the basement will be set up with air purifiers.
- snacks and lunch time will be taken place outdoor with shades, while weather permits. Pending on the pandemic situation, may provide individually wrapped snacks and drinks only.
