During these 40 Days of Planting Hope, Always, the entire church – every worship service, every small group, every ministry will focus on the same thing together: God’s purpose for our lives and RHCCC as a whole.
We designed this journey around four vital habits that we believe everyone needs to grow spiritually: the habit of weekly worship attendance, daily devotion time, a weekly small group, and an entire church response to bless the community.
Biblical Foundation
The foundation for this campaign is the Bible itself– with an intentional emphasis on the Great Commandment (Matthew 22:37-40; John 13:34) and the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20).
These passages combine to create the essential elements of a healthy, growing, biblically- based, and full of love church with its focus on worship, fellowship, discipleship, ministry, and mission.
Focus
Go DEEPER – Anticipate in daily worshipping God and Respond to God’s call and purpose for us. Our Purpose pastors have written 25 devotional articles to draw us to the Word. Alongside these devotional readings, there will be real life testimony from each people group.
Go WITH – Journey with others, especially seekers and newcomers in your small group. Take this opportunity to Identify and allow hosts and facilitators to lead/co-lead small group discussion.
Go OUT – Get out of your comfort zone to serve. There will be six weeks of sermons and action plans to bless the community in ways that will shape us to live out a healthy, growing, biblically- based, and full of love community.
Go FORWARD – After all, our faith is not in what we can do throughout the campaign, but in what He will be doing within our lives and around our lives.

齊前進——期待城北華基第 41 個年頭及未來！畢竟，我們的信心並不取決於我們在整個運動中能做些甚麼，而是取決於神在我們生命中作的工及透過我們的生命來榮耀祂。

In Canada, 52% people say they have, or a family member has needed blood or blood product at some point in their lives. There is a constant demand for blood and blood product. When you donate blood, you are helping others and giving back to your community.
About one in seven people entering a hospital need blood. One donation can save up to three lives. Healthy adults at least 17 years old and at least 110 lbs may donate about a pint of blood.

In sub-Saharan Africa, many children cannot survive beyond the age of five, and more than one million school children have no shoes to wear. For some, the walk to school alone takes an average of 60 to 90 minutes every day. ‘Sand fleas’ also known as ‘jiggers’ are a disease common to children without shoes, and for some can even be fatal. These sand fleas consume their feet and prevent them from reaching their dreams.
RHCCC calls our members to live out the act of mercy and compassion through caring for the poor. We ask members to donate a pair of old shoes to those who are in great need. Materials will be shipped to Africa. In addition, the shipping containers used to transport the shoes and material supplies are also turned into classrooms, clinics, churches, and community centres.

As we celebrate Thanksgiving and RHCCC’s 40th anniversary, let us learn to share and give to families in need, such as LMJ, Adam House, Syrian, Afghanistan, and Ukraine families. Your family or small group can collect the funds and purchase a gift card/gift basket for these families in need before the holiday season.
Date: September to November 2025
