What are we celebrating?
We are celebrating the 40th Anniversary of Richmond Hill Christian Community Church.
What is the program like?
Together, we will honour our roots through powerful worship, heartfelt interviews with our founders, and moving stories of faith and resilience. Be inspired by poetry, drama, and a message of One Hope — a hope that has carried generations and will continue to do so. (Please note there will be no children’s program.)
Where does the event take place?
The event will be held at the Canada Event Centre in Whitby — a well-equipped venue that can accommodate over 3,000 people. Travel time by car is around 40 minutes. This allows all RHCCC people groups, across generations, languages and campus sites, to celebrate together in one place.
How much does it cost?
Event Ticket: $10
Event+Bus Ticket: $15
Same price applies to both adults and children (age 3 & up).
Light refreshments are included with each ticket.
No charge for children under 3 who do not take up a seat.
How do we get there?
Due to the expected crowd and limited parking at the venue, we encourage those driving to arrange carpooling with friends and family, especially with seniors. For those who purchased the Event+Bus ticket, please arrive at RHCCC between 8:00-8:20 AM to board the church-arranged buses. Return to RHCCC is expected to be 1:00 PM.
How do I buy tickets?
Tickets are available at the 40th Anniversary Ticket Booth (Bayview Campus) after worship services, or can be purchased online using the above link and picked up at the booth. Tickets for DTM and Barrie campus attendees must be purchased online and pick up at their respective campuses. You can also pickup the tickets at Lobby Ticket Booth (Bayview Campus) on Tuesday to Thursday, September 16-18, 2025 between 12:00-2:00 PM.
Can I use the payment receipt to board the bus or enter the venue?
No. Only physical tickets will be accepted for bus boarding and venue entry. Payment receipts will not be accepted.
When will ticket sales end?
Ticket sales end on September 14, 2025.
Will the church (9670 Bayview) building be open that day?
On October 4th, RHCCC Bayview Campus will be open from 8:00 to 8:45 AM for bus boarding, and will remain closed until 4:00 PM. Afternoon programs will resume after 4:00 PM.

教會有沒有乘車安排？
由於預計出席人數眾多，且場地停車位有限，我們鼓勵開車者邀請與親友共乘，特別接載長者們。若您購買了巴士套票，請於當天早上8:00-8:20AM抵達城北華基集合，搭乘教會安排的巴士前往會場，活動後約於下午1:00PM後返回教會。

In Canada, 52% people say they have, or a family member has needed blood or blood product at some point in their lives. There is a constant demand for blood and blood product. When you donate blood, you are helping others and giving back to your community.
About one in seven people entering a hospital need blood. One donation can save up to three lives. Healthy adults at least 17 years old and at least 110 lbs may donate about a pint of blood.

Goal: 400 litres blood donations

In sub-Saharan Africa, many children cannot survive beyond the age of five, and more than one million school children have no shoes to wear. For some, the walk to school alone takes an average of 60 to 90 minutes every day. ‘Sand fleas’ also known as ‘jiggers’ are a disease common to children without shoes, and for some can even be fatal. These sand fleas consume their feet and prevent them from reaching their dreams.
RHCCC calls our members to live out the act of mercy and compassion through caring for the poor. We ask members to donate a pair of old shoes to those who are in great need. Materials will be shipped to Africa. In addition, the shipping containers used to transport the shoes and material supplies are also turned into classrooms, clinics, churches, and community centres.
Collection period: July 19 to September 28 (Updated)
Collection location: RHCCC Lobby
Goal: To raise 25,000 pairs of shoes and $3 per pair for shipping costs, filling a 40-ft container to be sent to Kitale, Kenya in September 2025. The container will also be converted into a local medical centre or classroom!
SHOES ACCEPTED
Sneakers, fabric Shoes, closed toe shoes, canvas shoes, flats, and low heels. Used shoes of usable quality, regardless of size or age, for both men and women (preferably flat shoes).
Please ensure that they are in good condition and offer full coverage.
SHOES NOT ACCEPTED
Slippers, high heels, platform shoes, long boots, snow boots, sandals, crocs, plastic shoes, sports sandals, short rain boots, roller blades.
Shoes with large holes, excessive wear, significant damage, detached soles, oxidized uppers, or cracked soles will not be accepted.
HOW TO PACKAGE YOUR SHOES
Bundle shoes together with shoelaces to keep pairs intact.
As you pack the shoes for donation, please refrain from using excessive packaging such as plastic bags, tape, plastic wrap, or rubber bands. This helps us save time, effort, and funds, and supports environmental sustainability.

球鞋、布鞋、頭包鞋、帆布鞋、平底鞋和低跟鞋。歡迎捐贈男女皆可穿的可用二手鞋，不限尺寸與年份，平底鞋為佳
請確保鞋子狀況良好並提供完整包覆。

拖鞋、高跟鞋、厚底鞋、長靴、雪靴、涼鞋、Crocs、塑膠鞋、運動涼鞋、短雨靴、溜冰鞋
有大破洞、過度磨損、嚴重損壞、鞋底脫落、鞋面氧化或鞋底裂開的鞋子亦不接受。
鞋子如何包裝
請用鞋帶將鞋子綁成一雙，以保持配對完整。
打包捐贈鞋時，請避免使用過多包裝材料，如塑膠袋、膠帶、保鮮膜或橡皮筋。這將幫助我們節省時間、人力與成本，也有助環保。
As we celebrate Thanksgiving and RHCCC’s 40th anniversary, let us learn to share and give to families in need, such as LMJ, Adam House, Syrian, Afghanistan, and Ukraine families. Your family or small group can collect the funds and purchase a gift card/gift basket for these families in need before the holiday season.
