Amidst the global pandemic development of COVID-19, we are facing an unprecedented crisis in health, social relationship, and financial impact. We are facing a record surge in unemployment and uncertainty.

With the conviction of the Biblical mandate to love and help one another, RHCCC has established the “COVID Care” incentive – we grow “Together on Purpose” by offering our congregations financial care, spiritual care, and practical care.

Small group leaders are encouraged to:

  1. watch out for any small group member who has lost his/her job and is in need of spiritual, emotional, or financial assistance;
  2. encourage one another through Scripture and pray for each other continuously; and
  3. if need that may be beyond your means is required, inform and seek advice from pastors and deacons accordingly.

The “Tele-Care Team” of the church will also care for church families and members through phone calls and media connection.

RHCCC has shared our blessing to our communities as follows:

  • $15,000 donation to Daily Food Bank
  • $20,000 donation Mackenzie Health for COVID-19 Response
  • Donating 12,000 surgical masks to four hospitals in GTA area
  • $15,000 donation to Scarborough Health Network COVID-19 Emergency Fund to purchase required medical equipment.
