I came to RHCCC’s Mandarin Ministry in 2013, and I’ve been serving for seven years. I’m now chairperson of Joshua Fellowship.
In my years of ministry, I’ve experienced both joy and anxiety. Every time I see new friends receive Jesus and get baptized into God’s family, I’m uplifted. There’s anxiety, of course, when I realize that it takes a lifetime for us to grow spiritually. Yet as we mature, we learn to be humble and obedient, and appreciate other people’s strengths. As we learn to obey God, we say no to pride.
I often think about one question. In leadership, are we serving God or people? How can we serve God and people at the same time? May God give us wisdom to maintain a fine balance!
