Despite COVID-19, I received baptism this summer in my backyard!
I’ve been at RHCCC since childhood. I heard all the Bible stories, but still found it hard to grasp the idea of a personal God. However, starting in junior high, I became more aware of my surroundings. I saw Sunday School lessons unfold in real life, taught by teachers with a deep passion for God. Being plugged into a fellowship helped me connect and grow with peers. We saw how God worked through our triumphs and dark moments. It was truly eye-opening to witness teachers, pastors and coaches emulating Christ in their care for us.
I thank God for revealing to me what it means to be in a relationship with Him. Through a caring community, God has led me to help others through small acts and serve in fellowship. As I move on to university, I remain joyful in hope and faithful in prayer, knowing that God will continue to show me more of His love, mercy, and grace.
